Day 1: Arrival in Tehran – Half-Day City Tour – Transfer to Rineh (2,300m)
Upon arrival at Imam Khomeini International Airport or the IBIS Airport Hotel, you will be greeted by our team. After a short introduction, enjoy a half-day city tour, visiting Saad Abad Palace and the bustling Tajrish Bazaar.
After a traditional lunch at a riverside restaurant in Darband, you’ll head to Rineh village, located at the base of Mount Damavand. Spend the night in a local guesthouse, preparing for the trek ahead.
- Transfer: Tehran to Rineh (3 hours, 90 km)
- Accommodation: Local house (Elevation: 2,600m)
Day 2: Ascent to Camp 1 (Saheb-al-Zaman Mosque, 3,000m) – Acclimatization Hike
Start your day early with a short drive to the trek’s starting point (2,600m). From there, begin your hike to Camp 1 (Saheb-al-Zaman Mosque, 3,000m), while your equipment is transported by vehicle.
After setting up camp and having lunch, take an acclimatization hike to 3,700m, then return to Camp 1 for a well-deserved rest.

- Trekking:
- Ascent: 1,100m (5 hours)
- Descent: 700m (2 hours)
- Accommodation: Tent (Elevation: 3,000m)
Day 3: Ascent to Camp 2 (Bargah Sevom, 4,250m)
After breakfast, porters will carry your equipment, allowing you to focus on the trek. The route to Camp 2 (Bargah Sevom, 4,250m) is well-defined and non-technical, making for an enjoyable climb.
During peak trekking months (July-August), you’ll likely meet friendly Iranian mountaineers along the way. Upon arrival, enjoy lunch and take a short acclimatization hike to 4,500m before resting for the night.

Day 4: Acclimatization Hike to 4,800m – Rest & Preparation
To further prepare for summit day, you’ll take an acclimatization hike to 4,800m, stopping for about 30 minutes before returning to Camp 2 for rest and final preparations.

- Ascent & Descent: 550m (5 hours)
- Accommodation: Tent (Elevation: 4,250m)
Day 5: Summit Day – Ascend to Mount Damavand (5,671m) & Return to Camp 2
Your summit push begins early in the morning (around 4:00 AM). Be sure to dress warmly, as temperatures at the peak can drop below freezing, even in summer.
The ascent is non-technical but requires stamina, surefootedness, and determination. At 5,100m, you’ll encounter sulfur vents, a reminder that Damavand is a dormant volcano.
After 6-7 hours, you’ll reach the 5,671m summit, enjoying incredible panoramic views. On clear days, you may even spot Tehran or the Caspian Sea in the distance.
Following a well-deserved break at the peak, you’ll descend back to Camp 2 for the night.

Day 6: Descent to Rineh – Visit Kafar Koli Caves – Return to Tehran
After breakfast, descend to Camp 1, where a vehicle transfer will take you back to Rineh.
Before heading to Tehran, visit the 2,000-year-old Kafar Koli Caves, an ancient rock-hewn settlement near Rineh. Upon arrival in Tehran, check into a hotel, marking the end of your Damavand trekking tour.

- The effective date of cancellation will be the date the written notice is received.

- More than 60 days before departure:
Full refund . - 59 to 31 days before departure:
50% of the total trip cost will be refunded. - 30 to 15 days before departure:
25% of the total trip cost will be refunded. - 14 days or less before departure:
No refund will be provided.
No-Show Policy
- If the client fails to appear on the day of departure, no refund will be issued.
Force Majeure Clause
- In the event of unforeseen circumstances beyond the provider’s control (e.g., natural disasters, political instability, pandemics, or other force majeure events), the provider reserves the right to offer a rescheduling option or partial refund based on recoverable costs.
