Damavand Tour : Damavand peak is a single and cone mountain in the heart of Iran plateau also it is the largest natural attraction in the middle east and certainly the main destination of many tourists every year . since the altitude of this legendary mountain is over 5600 meters , it is higher than Everest base camp furthermore with scenery of largest lake of the world , the Caspian Sea in the north , and the central desert of Iran in the south .Mount Damavand is located in 70 kilometers northeast of the Iran’s capital , Tehran consequently it is an easy access mountain and almost could be one of the most accessible high mountain in the world.

Day1: Transfer to Polur , Trek to camp1 (Saheb-al-Zaman Mosque) (3000 m)
In the morning , transfer from Tehran to Polur where is a village on root of mount Damavand (80km) then from Polur we drive about 10km to start point of trekking route that leads us to camp1 (2600m) , finally after almost 2 hours we reach to camp1 also we carry our stuff to camp1 by 4wd car , for the ones who are good acclimatized it is possible to drive by car to camp1. after rest and having lunch in camp1 we trek up-to 3500m height for acclimatization .

Day2: Ascent to Camp 2 (Bargah sevom) (4250 m)
After waking up first of all we have breakfast and then we handle our luggage to the porters or Mule after all we start our trekking toward bargah 3(4260m) , the route is easy and not very steep and almost it takes about 4-5 hours. after arriving at bargah3 and having lunch in the hut. in order to better acclimatization in the afternoon we do a short acclimatization up-to 4600 meters then descend to our tent to get ready for summit day. in case of bad weather or any problem it possible to sleep in the hut .

Day3: Ascending mount Damavand summit (5671m) , Descend to Hut
Today is the summit day then we should start early in the morning but no in the midnight !! we wake up about 4 am and after having breakfast in the hut and organizing our stuff finally we start our trekking to summit about 5 Am. since the route is not technical and in summer you don’t need ice axe and also crampon . climbing mount Damavand generally takes almost between 6-7 hours and we need 3-4 hours for descending. in case of good weather condition on top of Damavand it is possible to have a walk around Crater of the volcano and enjoy of great landscape around mount Damavand , after descending and arriving to the hut and having lunch we have time to rest to be recover to descend to camp1 next day in the morning

Day4: Descend to camp1 , drive back to Tehran
This day is final day of our tour then after having breakfast we leave Bargah3 toward camp1 . It takes about 3 hours to arrive camp1 after arriving camp1 we will drive by 4WD cars to Polur and then we drive to Tehran.

Day1: Transfer to Polur , Trek to camp1 (Saheb-al-Zaman Mosque) (3000 m)

Day3: Ascending mount Damavand summit (5671m) , Descend to Hut
Day4: Descend to camp1 , drive back to Tehran

General Terms
- All cancellations must be made in writing and communicated via email to [info@persiatrek.com].
- The effective date of cancellation will be the date the written notice is received.
Cancellation Charges
- More than 60 days before departure:
Full refund . - 59 to 31 days before departure:
50% of the total trip cost will be refunded. - 30 to 15 days before departure:
25% of the total trip cost will be refunded. - 14 days or less before departure:
No refund will be provided.
No-Show Policy
- If the client fails to appear on the day of departure, no refund will be issued.
Force Majeure Clause
- In the event of unforeseen circumstances beyond the provider’s control (e.g., natural disasters, political instability, pandemics, or other force majeure events), the provider reserves the right to offer a rescheduling option or partial refund based on recoverable costs.
