Mount Damavand Northeast route

Damavand northeast route : Damavand Peak has 16 main ridges that climbers use to climb. The most popular route to climb Damavand Peak is the southern edge of Damavand Peak, but Damavand northeast route after southern route is the most popular route that climbers choose to climb .

The beauty of the route and the existence of a good shelter of Takht Fereydoun at an altitude of 4400 meters, as well as the easy access to the base camp and  also its relatively easy ascent route, has made this route an attractive route for climbers.
We suggest this route to mountaineers who intend to climb Damavand Peak from a different route for the second time, or who would like to climb Damavand Peak from a different route and more secluded and beautiful, and of course with a little more adventure.

Advantages of Damavand Northeast route compared to the southern route
  • This route is the most beautiful ascent of Damavand with greener slopes and proximity to the largest glacier of Damavand Mountain.
  • This route is less traffic and you will enjoy nature more in a calmer environment with fewer climbers.
