Hello! I’m Mehdi Farhadi, the founder and CEO of PersiaTrek, a leading Iran tour operator specializing in adventure and cultural tours across Iran.
My Story
Born in 1976, I graduated as an industrial engineer from the prestigious Iran University of Science and Technology (IUST) in 2000. After 14 years as a system analyst and project control expert, I decided to pursue my passion for the outdoors and adventure.
My love for mountaineering began in 1998, and by 2002, I had become a professional climber after completing advanced training courses. As a certified climbing instructor, I spent a decade guiding climbers across Iran’s most iconic peaks and internationally renowned walls.
In 2012, I became a dedicated Iranian mountain guide, sharing the beauty of Iran’s mountain ranges, natural wonders, and historical landmarks with adventurers from around the world. In 2017, I founded PersiaTrek to establish a globally respected Iranian tour operator that combines adventure, culture, and hospitality. Today, we collaborate with top European and Asian travel agencies, helping travelers explore Iran’s unique charm.
