off-piste skiing Iran : In this trip you will have a different experience , we start our trip from Tehran and will do skiing in three important ski area in Alborz (Elborz)  mountains . we start from Dizin ski area ( the largest ski area) and finish in Touchal (the 5th highest ski area in the world:3800m above sea level). read more about Iran main ski area : here

Day by day

Day1 : Arrival Tehran

Flight to Teheran and transfer to Dizin where we will start our week.

Transfer: 3 hours

Accommodation: Hotel/local house

Day2:  Skiing in Dizin

We start in Dizin , Dizin is the largest skiing area in Iran situated 123 km from Teheran in the Gajereh region. it’s possible to ski in this area from December to May . We can use the lift and go off-piste skiing. The area offers beautiful formations to play among .

Accommodation: Hotel/local house

Day3:  Skiing in Dizin

The second day of skiing will also be spent in the Dizin area where we continue to explore the area close to the lift system in Dizin .

Day4 : Dizin-Shemshak

Shemshak is considered as next in rank to Dizin ski complex and. It includes two ski lifts, three dish teleskis and two hammer teleskis and was founded back in 1958. It is situated on an altitude from 2550 meters to 3050 meters and the skiing is steeper than in Dizin. To reach Shemshak we can take the lift up to Dizin and go by car to Shemshak but in case that the road is closed(because of avalanche risk) we should transfer by car via tehran(about4hours) to Shemshak and skiing there.

• Trekking time: 2 to 4 hours.
• Accommodation: Hotel / Local house.

Day5: Shemshak

We do a ski on shemshak ski area and its steep and technical slopes.

Day6: Darbandsar – Tehran

Darbandsar ski area is our next destination . is one of the private ski areas in Iran . it is located in Darbandsar Village, 60 kilometers north east of Tehran in the middle of Alborz Mountain Range near Mount Damavand. .In this day on our way we have a beautiful view and can see as far as Mt Damavand, a sleeping volcano and the highest mountain in Iran.

After a day of skiing we drive to our hotel in for a final day of skiing in Tochal..

Day7: Touchal

Our plan is to go to Tochal, situated north of Teheran. We go up by telecabin up to 3800m height to do skiing in the highest ski area in Iran . Tochal is also the 5th highest skiing area in the world and the season reaches from December to May. From the top we have a view over Mt Damavand as well as over the city of Teheran.
You can, if you prefer, leave your skis standing and explore the city during this final day. It is all up to you.

Day8:  Flight back to home

Transfer to the airport and flight home.
