I spent 5 weeks with medhi and Persia trekking. I have travelled a lot the past ten years mostly for alpine climbing to remote places. But I must say this is one of the most special trips I have ever done, the warmth that was shown by medhi and his family to me was incredible. His local knowledge of history and cultural significance was also very good. All done with a great sense of humour. It sounds cliché but the trip I did to Iran with medhi and Persia trekking was truly life changing. At times during my stay I would visit other parts of the country and each city / town or state I would visit medhi and Persia trekking would get me in contact with a local climber and I would be plugged into the scene immediately. This made the trip truly special. I always thought if I could repay the favour to medhi in the future it would be a great honor. I will cherish the experience I had with medhi and persa trekking for the rest of my life. Love to you medhi and your family hope you are well.
To give a score to this overall experience, I wouldn't mind giving it a 10/10.
Iran is indeed a beautiful country, with spectacular views in every direction. Biggest appreciation to the founder and my tour guide throughout my 10 days in Iran, Mehdi Farhedi, for his top-tier hospitality.
I started my journey with a trekking to Mt Touchal for 3 days, following with a ski training (guided personally by Mehdi) on the fourth day. Spent the remaining days with ice climbing and Esfahan tour.
To conclude this trip as a whole, I enjoyed every moment of it to the fullest. Beyond happy to be able to understand deeper on the history of Persia, witnessing the beauty of its architectures, climbing one of Iran's snow mountains, and to be friends with humble and welcoming Iranians.
Extremely gorgeous country! This won't be my last visit; as the country is big and I know I wouldnt be able to cover everything in 9 days. Thanks Mehdi, see you again!
It was a very good experiece. Thank you guys!
